JOB POST: Seeking Podcast Sound Designer/Editor

Change Agents the podcast is seeking a sound designer/editor for season 4 of its series.  This is a contract hire for 90 hours of work sound designing & finishing editing for six 20 - 25 minute episodes of the series.  The contract goes from September through November of 2023.  

The Change Agents series is created as part of a podcast production lab where emerging journalists, primarily of color, are paired with grassroots activists to tell stories of change through a community lens. We’re looking for someone to suggest and provide sound design elements for each episode, as well as do the final editing and mix. The role includes working closely with the producers to develop the overall “sound” for their episodes. 

Requirements: 4+ years of audio production field and editing experience.

Experience with Reaper or a willingness to master it by September is required. Teaching experience, as well as candidates of color will be looked on favorably, but all are encouraged to apply.  Bonus points if you have field experience with Zoom H4N Pro digital recorders.
